Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 30 days notice of cancellation. A full refund or credit will also be issued in the event that the boat service must cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Failure to show up for your scheduled rental will result in being charged the full price.

Terms and conditions

Booking Confirmation: The final confirmation of your booking will be sent to you via email.
Deposit: A booking is only confirmed once a prepayment of 50% of the total amount has been made.
Payment Deadline: The prepayment must be made within the deadlines specified in the booking agreement to secure the reservation.
Final Payment: The remaining balance of the booking amount must be paid at least 7 days prior to the booking date.
Boat Selection Policy: While we endeavor to provide you with the specific classic wooden boat you have selected for your rental, we must advise that due to the very limited availability of our unique vessels, we cannot guarantee the exact model requested. In the rare event that your chosen boat is not available, we will do our utmost to supply an alternative vessel of equal elegance and classic style. Rest assured, regardless of the boat provided, your experience on Lake Lucerne will be nothing short of extraordinary and steeped in timeless luxury.
Cancellation by the Customer: In the event of a cancellation by the customer, the prepayment will not be refunded. Cancellation must be made in writing and is only valid once confirmed by the service provider.
Changes by the Service Provider: Should it become necessary to make changes to the booking or cancel the booking due to circumstances beyond the control of the service provider, the customer will be informed immediately. In such a case, all payments made will be fully refunded, or an alternative date will be offered if possible.
No-Show: In the event that the customer does not show up at the agreed time, no refund of the prepayment or total costs will be made.
Liability Disclaimer: The service provider is not liable for personal items that are lost or damaged, or for personal accidents that occur during the use of the booked service, unless due to the service provider’s negligence.
Insurance: Customers are responsible for obtaining adequate travel and cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen events.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: The service provider reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. However, the conditions in effect at the time of booking will remain applicable to that booking.
